What Are Your Big Plans for 2014?

Year 2014I find it unbelievable that October is nearly over. Leaves are falling. The weather is getting cooler. The holidays are approaching.  I’m not sure where the year has gone. It’s  natural this time of  year to get nostalgic, take stock of the year behind us, and start thinking about the year ahead.

This is true in our personal lives, but even more so in our corporate lives. Now is the time when we lay out plans for next year. We set budgets, form goals, consider new hires, and plan for infrastructure needs.

Mergers, Acquisitions, New Hires, Oh My

As you consider the upcoming year, are you facing any strategic challenges? Do you have mergers or acquisitions on your radar? Do you have new leaders coming on board? Is a culture shift about to take place in your company or industry? Do you have new business areas that you plan to focus on in 2014? Are there old business units that need revamping or revising?

It’s good to ask these questions as the new year approaches. Sometimes facilitating a new strategy can be overwhelming, especially if you’ve never done it before. If you’re facing any of these challenges in the year ahead, I encourage you to call our team at eParamus.

What Is Strategic Facilitation?

Here are a few examples of what we can do for you in a facilitated strategy session:

  • Work with you to identify the goals for your session so that they are clear, focused, significant, and achievable
  • Develop an agenda with you to address targeted issues important to your team
  • Facilitate the session, keeping your group focused, engaged, and on time
  • When deliberating important issues, share our experience with you about what does and does not work
  • Provide documentation of the meeting results, highlighting the key decisions made and action plans for the future

What’s on your plate for 2014? Tell me in the comments. I’d love to know your thoughts and hear more about your projects.
